Our Mission

The mission of PAF is to empower rural communities through non-formal education for sustainable development.

Governance

PAF is a membership organisation and overall, is supervised by a Board, which approves its programme and budget, and supervises programme management. PAF has a Secretariat, which deals with technical, administration, field and information and communication, headed by an Executive Director. The Director and her team provides support to community based structures , in technical financial aspects of implementation, and coordinates capacity building of the various structures.

PAF Organisation Structure

Organisational Structure :

PAF is governed by an Annual General Meeting and its affairs are steered by an eight member Board of Directors elected by the general membership. Board members serve three-year terms and are responsible for policy guidelines and ensuring that PAF's mission is maintained by the Secretariat. The Executive Director, Programmes Manager and a small support staff make up the Secretariat.
