Our Mission

The mission of PAF is to empower rural communities through non-formal education for sustainable development.

 

 

Membership

People's Action Forum extends membership to rural community groups, and to both urban and rural individuals who accept PAF's vision and mission. Individual members remit a membership fee and an annual subscription to the National Office; group members, being the beneficiaries of PAF's activities, remit only the registration fee, while retaining the annual subscription to help defray local administrative costs.

Branches :

PAF currently maintains Branch Offices, consisting of a total of 51 community groups , in six districts:

Central Province :

Mumbwa (16 sub branches/groups)

Namayani (4 sub branches/groups)

Eastern Province:

Chadiza (21 sub branches/ groups)

Chipata (7 sub branches/groups)

Mambwe (3 sub branches/groups)

Southern Province:

Mazabuka (12 sub branches/groups)

Monze (4 sub branches/groups)

 

Each Branch has an elected Executive Committee to oversee the implementation of programmes and activities; an elected Chairperson leads each Branch. All the Branches have a full time Programmes Co-ordinator each; executive members are volunteers who receive no remuneration but, donate their time, energy, enthusiasm and creativity to help their neighbours and communities.
