Roger Federer Foundation:
The overall goal of the project is: improved equitable access to quality education especially for marginalized children in rural Zambia to accelerate achievement of EFA goals by 2015. The purpose is to promote child friendly policies, strategies and practices that will enhance participation of disadvantaged children such as girls, OVCs and children with disabilities in school in Rural Zambia.
The Project will initially run from August 2011 to July 2014. PAF looks forward to a long and fruitful partnership in this worthy cause.
Zambian Governance Foundation
In the project “Policy Engagement and Advocacy Initiative: Coordinated Response to HIV and AIDS”, the overall goal is for rights holders (women, men, boys, girls and persons with disabilities) to be empowered to constructively engage duty bearers and claim their rights in relation to HIV and AIDS treatment, care, support and prevention.
This project runs for one year from August 2011 to 2012. PAF welcomes ZGF to what is anticipated to be a successful collaboration.
APPOINTMENTS
Global Campaign for Education (GCE) –PAF Executive Director, Mrs Jennifer Chiwela, was elected to GCE Board as Vice President from 2011 to 2014
International Council for Adult Education (ICAE) –PAF Programme Manager, Gina Chiwela was elected as Ordinary Member to the ICAE Executive Committee for 2011 to 2014.
FTI (Fast Track Initiative) - Congratulations to ZANEC (Zambia National Education Coalition) Executive Director, Miriam Chinyama for appointment to the Board.
